Heena Parmar in Delhi Times (19-09-2015)

Heena befriends a horse on the sets of Maharana Pratap

Heena Parmar, who recently entered 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap' as Phool Kunwar, doesn't think that actors get typecast when they do historical shows. Before Maharana Pratap, Heena was seen playing Anarkali in the historical show Jodha Akbar.

"I don't think actors get typecast when they do historical shows. In my earlier show, I was playing a kaneez and in this show, I am playing a warrior princess. There is a whole lot of difference between the two characters.

Here, I am supposed to speak chaste Hindi, whereas in my earlier show, I had to speak in Urdu. I still break into Urdu sometimes while speaking Hindi dialogues," she told us. Heena has been training in horse-riding and sword-fighting specially for this role. She has hired a personal trainer for mastering horse-riding.

"I had a few bad incidents during my last show while shooting with horses. I was scared, but I am managing now by befriending my horse! I take biscuits for my horse everyday and feed him," she added.
