Ankita Bhargava proposes to Roopal Tyagi, gets ‘engaged’

Don't let your imagination run wild. It's just that television actresses AnkitaBhargava and RoopalTyagi are the latest BFFs in town. And, at her birthday party recently, Ankita jokingly proposed to her best friend.

Despite being unwell, Roopal went out of her way to make the occasion special for Ankita. While the latter was shooting, she decorated her room with flowers. And when the birthday girl returned home in the evening, she was surprised to see the way her house had transformed.

A touched Ankita then told Roopal, "I would have married you had you been a guy and a foot taller."
The fun didn't end there. The two even exchanged fake nails, as a mark of their 'engagement'. "It was just an instant decision. This will make our bond stronger," says Ankita.

Chandni Bhagwanani's coverage in The Tribune-Life Style(Ludhiana)(11 August, 2014)

It hurts!

While shooting for the show, Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story, Chandni Bhagwanani fractured her leg. As she is the lead in the show, she cannot be missing from the story, so the makers have twisted the story in a way that it shows her character with a fractured leg.

Chandni Bhagwanani & Ankita Bhargava in Bombay Times (09 August, 2014)

Here's how some small-screen girls celebrated Raksha Bandhan with their pets last year .
Rashami Desai
This is going to be Oreo's first rakhi, he turned a year old on August 5. My brother's daughter will also tie him rakhi. I can't imagine my life without him. Oreo loves chocolate pastry and I will order it for him to celebrate the occasion.

Ankita Bhargava
I have been tying rakhi to my dog and cat since they were born. I also tie rakhi to my tomcat, but it's very difficult to catch him for a pic. The one in the picture is Kaju, who protects me like a brother. She is very choosy about the male friends who visit my house and only a few have won her heart in the very first meeting. That's why I tie her rakhi. We also have sibling rivalry. She seems to think she was also born from my mother's womb and competes with me for pressing her feet. It's like she's the daughter, not me.

Tina Dutta
My two pets are like my babies and siblings, all in one. Bruno is only six months old, so this will be his first rakhi. But Rani is older and I've been tying a rakhi to her for the past three years. The first thing I do after reaching home is to spend quality time with them. I can't stay without them for a single day. They are equally protective and possessive about me. I will treat them to their favourite food this Raksha Bandhan.

Sambhavna Seth
I have been tying rakhi to Coco, who is my first pet, for the past nine years. He has been with me since my days of struggle in the industry. Coco protects me like a brother and doesn't let strangers enter the house. He loves haircuts and I am planning to take him to a dog salon on Raksha Bandhan.

Chandni Bhagwanani
I have been tying rakhi to my pet Buddy for five years now. It all started when my cousin shifted to the US and I started missing him terribly on Raksha Bandhan that year. Buddy sat next to me, licking my tears. On an impulse, I decided to tie a rakhi to him. I call him Buddy, because he is my best friend and he understands everything I say. When I make a shooting gesture with fingers and say 'Bang', he jumps and falls and pretends to be dead. As I am shooting in Delhi, I won't be there with him to celebrate this Raksha Bandhan. So, I have asked my mom to tie him a rakhi on my behalf and treat him to his favourite vanilla ice cream.

Shalini Arora
I have been tying rakhi to Tequila for two years. I don't have a brother and it was an impulsive decision to tie him rakhi. The only trouble is, I can't do a tilak on him, because he is allergic to vermillion.
